What to take from a tactics video

• Percentages first. Most club points are lost, not won. Notice how often coaches recommend the crosscourt ball: the net is lower in the middle and the court is longer on the diagonal, so it is the safer shot.
• One pattern at a time. A tactics video usually shows several ideas. Pick one pattern, such as serve wide and hit the next ball to the open court, and play it until it comes naturally.
• Your opponent, not the pro's. A plan against a lefty or a pusher only helps if you meet one. Save the lessons that fit the players you actually face.
• Your strengths. The best plan is built around the shot you trust under pressure, not the one that looks best on video.

How to turn a video into a game plan

1. Pick one pattern from a lesson and write it down in a sentence.
2. Before your next match, open the AI coach in the app, choose Match Day Prep, describe your opponent and the pattern, and ask for a simple plan with a backup.
3. Log the match afterwards, then use Match Review to talk through whether the plan worked and what to change.
